The stock is the worst part about this particular rifle, lots of dings and scratches (nothing too deep) along with a small crack to the right side, near where the rear of the action sits. As far as I'm aware, both series were all made in. Nobody seems to know why Webley decided to use the 'A' prefix for both these production series, but it certainly make things more difficult when trying to accurately date the these 'A' pre-fixed rifles.
